Life in Reverse Order
- 2024: In January, left the GED job to work FT at CFV as part of the Executive Leadership Team
- 2022-2023: Part-time job teaching GED classes at a juvenile treatment center; LOVED the kids!!
- 2022: New and expanded responsibilities at CFV, including project coordination and mentoring
- 2021: In a return to education, became Content Developer for Cage Free Voices Online Learning
- 2019-2021: Swim Suit Guru, Coat Captain, Sales Associate, and Finder of Missing Items at Dillard's while adjusting to life with chronic illness
- 2018-2019: Surprised by new-to-me health concerns that stopped all travels
- 2018: Traveled and hiked North America, dirtbag style, for 4.5 months, while working remotely.
- 2008-2018: Taught middle school science for St. Louis Public Schools, and did all the things. All the things.
- 2009-2018: Trained and practiced as a volunteer counselor in various capacities, both with groups and individuals
- 2016: Fell in love with running
- 2014: Learned to teach differently as the events in Ferguson (and my students' neighborhoods) unfolded
- 2006-2008: Grad school at Webster University (MA in Teaching)
- 2003-2006: Substitute taught and TA'ed in Massachusetts and Missouri
- 2001-2003: Hosted school groups as an Outdoor Educator in Texas
- 1997-2001: Undergrad at Washington University in StL (BS in Biology)
- 1999: Spent a summer in Hungary helping locals practice English
- 1997: Retired from competitive swimming
